Meet Our Team - LaVista, NE

Sharon is our Dental Assistant and is transplanted to Papillion from California where she graduated from Western Career College in 1992 as a dental assistant. She enjoys the relationships she builds with the patients, working closely with Dr. Noel on their needed care, and keeping our patients comfortable. Sharon enjoys reading, knitting, spending time with her young adult children and staying in touch with her long-distance friends as well as new friends she makes in the Omaha area.

Amy has been in the dental field since 2006. She has attended state-of-the-art training with the prestigious Las Vegas Institute of Advanced Dental Studies and the International Association of Comprehensive Aesthetics. Amy’s continuous advanced training with The Scheduling Institute since 2011 has given her the ability to deliver the absolute best patient care there is to offer. Growing up afraid of the dentist herself, she finds it very ironic that she loves working in the dental field so much! Experiencing what a difference state-of-the-art technology and a gentle, expert touch can make has given her the ability to relate with fearful patients and put their minds at ease to get the dental care they deserve. Being able to make a positive difference in people’s lives is what drives Amy and keeps her in the dental field.

Amy has been married to her high school sweetheart, Joe since 2003. Together they have 4 very active boys who are all in year round sports and they absolutely LOVE watching their boys play ball! When Amy is not at work or at a sporting event, she loves listening to music, golfing and playing games with her family & friends.

Prior to being at Allure, Andrea spent most of her career in retail management which included popular brands such as Levi Strauss, The Disney Store and Coach. While Andrea is new the dental field, she’s no stranger to providing excellent customer service. She brings a positive attitude, incredible people skills, the hunger to learn more and the passion to help others which is the perfect recipe for our Front Desk Coordinator.

Andrea has been married for over 25 years. They raised their two boys right here in Papillion LaVista. Both of her sons have graduated college and are working in their chosen fields. Andrea is very creative and when she is not spending time with family & friends, she retreats to her art room to paint, scrapbook or make home décor. If you know 80’s music, Andrea would love to do sing-a-long with you when you come in!

Rena graduated with her Dental Assisting Degree from Metro Community College in 2007 and went on to get her Associates Degree in General Studies in 2008. Rena loved the dental field so much that she thought “why stop at Dental Assisting” and graduated from IWCC with her Dental Hygiene Degree in May of 2011. Rena enjoys staying up to date on the most recent dental studies and advancements so she can continue to educate her patients on not only the latest advancements but also the direct links between your oral health and your overall health. Rena says, “It’s such a good feeling to see improvement in a patient’s oral health and know I’ve had a hand in improving not only that but their overall health as well.”

In Rena’s free time, she loves cooking for her two teenage boys, gardening, going to the gym and DIY craft projects.

Megan actually started out in nursing and through that process it led to her finding a true passion in dental. Megan graduated from Iowa Western’s Dental Hygiene Program in 2011. She loves her career as a Dental Hygienist and knows that there are many patients that have some level of dental anxiety so she takes pride in being able to put her patients at ease and provide a positive experience to keep them coming back. She also enjoys educating patients on their oral health so every patient can leave with more tools and comfort than they came in with.
